The West Yorkshire Business Boost project is being delivered by Exemplas and key partners and is funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF). In West Yorkshire, the West Yorkshire Combined Authority leads the implementation of the Fund as part of the Mayor’s ambition to make West Yorkshire the best place to work, learn and live.
This government-funded programme is designed to equip small to medium sized businesses based in West Yorkshire with the advice, knowledge and networks needed to boost their business success. There are three services available through this programme that have been set up to work with SMEs to improve productivity and resilience through innovation, empowering leaders to drive growth and, to help SMEs reach and expand in markets around the world.

What is the UK Shared Prosperity Fund?
This programme, only available to West Yorkshire SMEs, is funded by West Yorkshire Combined Authority through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
The UK Shared Prosperity Fund is a central pillar of the UK government’s Levelling Up agenda and provides £2.6 billion of funding for local investment by March 2025. The Fund aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK investing in communities and place, supporting local business, and people and skills.
